Ok I looked at the video and I don't know what it was specifically showing how can some give me a description on what was shown and how it is going to relate to the route? Does this mean something new is coming to it? If this is the case I am always up for something new because this is one of a favorite routes of TS 2013.
With this, some types of Renfe's trains can change between the iberian gauge (1668 mm) and the standard gauge (1435 mm) without stopping the entire train. The new high speed lines are being constructed in standard gauge.
In the actual version of the route, they only are (the gauge changer) decorative. Now Xartix shows the evolve from decorative to full operative.
The video shows a gauge changer; this machine is placed in several points in Spain, near the high speed lines.
